Alba Silvente: A Web Performance Journey with Nuxt, Storyblok, and Netlify

On Friday 21st, 2021, our first United States-focused JavaScript conference, JSWORLD Conference USA, took place. The event attracted 19,109 JavaScript enthusiasts from all over the world!

Some of our colleagues at Passionate People have also shared some of their knowledge and passion for the JavaScript world, including Alba Silvente, Alexander Esselink, and Gift Egwuenu.

Having the opportunity to share my passion for Jamstack and web performance at an international conference is a dream come true.

In her talk called “A Web Performance Journey with Nuxt, Storyblok, and Netlify,” Alba discussed the main web performance concerns she had while building her own website, and how Jamstack architecture helped her address them.

By going with a headless CMS like Storyblok, which provides a CDN service for images, along with a static site builder like Nuxt, we have pretty much got the hardest part of development covered. And if we already use a hosting like Netlify, we can also forget about the optimal configuration of our server.

In order to help spread the love for all things Frontend for the engineering communities all over the world, we’re offering you an exclusive look into Alba’s slides HERE.
